Can you get it smooth again with a bit of water and a fork?

I just give mine a little bit longer in the microwave, transfer it into another bowl and give it a minute. That normally cools it down pretty fast.

    Author: KH25
Subject: 5327
Posted: 21 January 2007 at 6:31pm

Ashleigh has been having solids for a couple of weeks now. I am giving her the Watties stage one foods but she is only having a teaspoon or so so I have been freezing the rest of the jar into ice cubes. My question is about the veges - whenever I defrost an ice cube of them, they always seem to be a lot lumpier than before?? The fruit - apples and pears etc all seem to be the same, nice and pureed but the veges all seem quite lumpy and Ashleigh starts gagging on them. What am I doing wrong????????? Thanks
