Hey guys, we were having trouble with our teenager and the bebo site, and Mummy22 told me how to block it completely, which I have done. I can still access it if I want to have a look at fotos my friends have posted up, etc, but I have to make sure I password protect it all again before I log off, which is a bit of a PITA, but in our house, there is only one chance! The scary thing is that so many kids are posting all their details ont here, cell #'s etc, and in the last few weeks there have been stories int he news about young girls being "groomed" by sexual predators on there, and i think one was a 13 yr old nelson girl. i joined up cause a GF told me it was great to host videos and could be made private...but when i went to upload i got a warning on the site that said anyone could use for their own profile etc....so havent used it at all....bit annoying as i had heard it was great for sharing privately but guess this warning is a new thing as not quite so private as we think...

soooo anyone know where you can share videos online privately? I think that goes without saying for any hosting image site that you use, someone is going to nick your pic's. oh my...... how scarey is that. My 11yr old has been asking me if she can join up as all her friends have etc. I said NO WAY and now Im sooooo glad I did. Im definitely happy to be the big bad wolf as long as I can do what I can to keep her safe. She always tries the "my friends are allow" line It never works for her thou

Lots of our Friends and family have a Bebo page so i joined up and found it a neat way to keep in touch with those who live away untill i was directed to a guys page who had a picture of our daughter on it.i completly freaked out!!! His page sited his cell number so i called him telling him to take it off. he said he would but i checked up and he hadnt so i sent a complaint which resulted in all his photos been taken down.I have since shut down my page and told all friends and family to take down our pictures unless their pages are locked so people cant copy their photos.
