I went in & asked them to have a look when I was having issues with my rearward facing carseat & the lady told me that I shouldn't have it rearward facing anymore as in her opinion Matthew was too long for it (he was well below the weight limit & was only about 8 months old) & also that I shouldn't have it in the centre of the backseat I should have it at the side as the centre isn't the safest part. I just completely disregarded her advice as I really didn't agree with it.

I've never had this happen. Are you able to go to plunket to have the seat checked by them, they may be able to fix the problem just by looking at it!!

Something doesn't look right but I can't put my finger on it. Sorry not much help.

If your seat sort of slants in towards the backseat this can sometimes help hold the capsule in place.
You could also contact a safe2go technician - they'll help you install it properly www.safe2go.co.nz
