Just as long it isnt pellet like at her age. (before solids starts.)<br /><br />I will check your own diet as well. Make sure you get all the healthy stuff in right now. Your diet can play an effect as well.<br /><br />Another thing just to losen everything is to put her on her back. Then just lift her legs and pull them slightly towards her chest. Then make as if she is riding a bicycle. Works great for burps as well as consipation.<br /><br />Hope it gets better soon. ]]>

Had the same prob with Isla a few weeks ago. Rang our Dr's and the nurse said to offer her water in between feeds, to give her lots of no-nappy time, and to gently raise her legs up towards her tummy. That afternoon I picked up the presciption they gave us for coloxyl drops to make her go,..but didnt have to use them! ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=10436">Andie</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5872<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25 February 2007 at 10:50am<br /><br /><P>Yes, it comes with a TMI warning - and not the juicy kind of TMI either but the kind that makes people without kids roll their eyes at how much we can describe our baby's poop.&nbsp; </P><P>Could Ella be constipated?&nbsp; I'm going to take her to the Doc tomorrow if nothing's changed by then (plus she has a cold too).&nbsp; 8 days ago was her last proper poop.&nbsp; 7 days ago was her first (and last) formula feed, which sent her straight into anaphylaxis and she was given steroids at A&amp;E.&nbsp;&nbsp; Yesterday she did a very small poop - and this is the TMI bit - normally Ella's ones are runny, very very runny and with curdled bits.&nbsp; This one wasn't hard like a proper poo, but was pasty - a fair bit thicker than her usual ones.&nbsp; And talk about stinky!&nbsp; I thought that breastfed babies (no solids yet) could hold on for up to 10 days and then when they went, they exploded everywhere!&nbsp; That's what's got me worried that she might be constipated - she only passed a small bit, and it&nbsp;was thicker than&nbsp;her usual ones.&nbsp; I'm wondering if her allergic reaction a week ago, or the steroids have made her constipated?&nbsp; I've heard of giving brown sugar in water to clean them out, or diluted prune juice, but given that she's not on solids yet, I'm reluctant to try those.&nbsp; I'm giving her extra feeds today to get more fore-milk into her.&nbsp; But I guess I really just want to know if this is normal or not.&nbsp; </P>]]>
