I only get it from this one if she has a late afternoon nap. If her sleep gets disturbed the night before (like teething) I can do what I want she will take an early morning nap and then a later afternoon nap and then I am in for it that night.

She is fine just as long as she is with me the whole time. Dad must not take over at all.

I actually got really worried with her when she was a newborn. She use to start here at 6 until about 9. She wont cry or anything but wants the boob. Then she starts pulling off it totally red in the face looks like she wants to scream and in pain so try and burp her and she flops herself back wanting boop again.

I got really worried that I was a bad mom. But she will only do this during those hours. Then when I went to go see her pedi for a check-up he told me it is the normal suicide hour. Moms ready to either kill themselves or the babies and that 90% of all babies go through exactly the same thing and some dr's will tell you that it is colick but that is just a term for ;"I dont really know what is wrong so I am going to blame it on colick"

Maya used to do the arsenic hour between 4pm and 7pm, she didn't want to be put down, just grizzled and grumped in general. Shouldn't this be called the witching 3 hours or something more appropriate?!

Gah! Both yesterday & today, Amelia's woken at 3pm (after hardly any sleep) and gone right thru til 7/8pm and talk about GRUMPY! Man, had her in the exersaucer for a bit this afternoon, and she got soooo grumpy that the flower she wanted was attached, so took her out, fed her some more and tried to put her to bed - no luck!

and wednesday nights are our take out nights so all is good...

Rhyley is 6.30pm/7 till his bath time at 8. as you say no need to feed earlier as he isn't hungry. normally i do prepare everything early...but with Rhiannon not sleeping through the day it makes it a bit harder...and while it stops for dinner it then starts up again...

she has fallen asleep on me 3 times tonight...but each time i put her to bed she has flipped onto her knees and pulled herself up and started screaming...at 8pm i gave up and put her to bed...she cried/screamed for 10mins and is now sitting in bed playing with some toys...but is quiet so i am leaving her...

My girls start up around 5 (if not before) until bedtime but I've been able to set a deal with DH that he looks after them from 5-5.30 (dinner prep time) then we both do it together until bedtime.

all i can say is you are lucky it is only for 45 mins...

mine starts at 5 and finishes when they go to bed about 7.30....

How do you cope....mine starts at around 4ish every afternoon (except weekends when Kent is home to keep her distracted)...and doesnt finish until she has dinner at 4.45pm

she doesnt want to eat before this time...and is just a general pain in the butt, have to be with mummy type pain.
