Available from chemists.
The best position for us was lying her flat across our knees on her stomach and rubbing her back while jiggling our knees a little.
Good luck, I hope it improves!

One of the more successful burping positions we ended up using involved sitting her upright on one knee, with one hand pressed against the tummy while holding the chin up, and the other to pat the back.
Also, tummy time often helped.

Not sure if you're bf so this may not relate to you, but our problem related to my fast flow breastmilk and I found pinching the nipple to make less milk come out helped so she didn't take in so much air. Also, expressing a little of the foremilk to get to the thicker hind milk supposedly helps stop such severe wind as foremilk contains more lactose which can make them more windy.

A nice deep warm bath helped my friends baby with bringing up wind but didn't work for us.

Oh yeah, and we tried gripe water and Infacol but they didn't help. In fact, Infacol made her wind worse in our case even though I understand it works well for others.

Terrible cycle.

So yeah, maybe give that a go?

And as far as burping techniques... the choke hold and rubbing the back upwards always worked best for me.

Good luck!

MW told us to try cooled boiled water - didn't work. So she said to try Infacol, so I got a bottle and that isn't bringing it. All he does is cry (and me cause I can't seem to do anything to relieve the pain) and feed. Any ideas on ways to bring the wind up to stop his pain???
