Its very natural, and believe it or not, and important part of their development. my nephew did that, he even tried to crawl away when he was feeding sometimes, *not* nice for my poor sister as he refused to let go of the nipple.

My daughter used to do that too, mainly sit up and look around then lay down on me. When breast feeding Mya is really active, she can honestly move in almost a full circle, sit herself up, lie back down, pretty much move constantly but NEVER looses her grip on the nipple!
