I'd say it's the diet. But you guys will have to work it out cuz it's different for each guy. Some it's meat, some it's specific veges, some it's cheeses and other things. It'll help if he wants to change too, otherwise you could run into some problems, suddenly changing his diet... (grrrr between man and his food...)

Gosh looks like we all have this problem! My DP always farts at night...and maaaaan it peeves me off cos they reek...and its like uhhhh I dont wanna hear or smell that *BEEP*....half the time he blames in on bubz....but lukily Kahtrells farts dont stink so I always know who the culprit is lmfaoOo. Kahtrell use to fart a lot...and when I lift his bum up to change his nappie..that always cracks me up lolz. And as for me......I'm a lady hehehe. Ok, here is my fart story.

A few years back, when I was flatting, me and the girls just used to let rip freely, sometimes even give each other points out of ten. Just like boys do. We would even lift our legs top get better noise..

Well, I used to "date" this guy who went to work in Israel for 6 months fixing planes, and while he was away, we just got grosser. Me and him used to hang out at his place before he went away, so he never saw this classy behaviour. ANYHOW, not long after he came home, maybe about a week, he was around home one night, and I was lying on the floor, completely forgetting that this man idolises his darling mother and he was a great believer in the "wh*re in the bedroom, cook in the kitchen and lady in the lounge room" school of thought, so I had never farted in front of him, anyway, I felt a good one brewing up, so I lifted my leg and let rip. My flatties were in the kitchen rolling on the floor in silent laughter, and I was dying in the lounge, becasue he couldn't have had a more disgusted look on his face if I had taken a dump right on the floor in front of him, and he told me how disgusting and revolting it was. Now, this guy was no square, prude etc, but he really hated girls farting. Needless to say, he broke up with me by the weekend. (lucky escape for me, though). Now, "apparently" he broke up with me because I was "more of a friend" to him (story of my life) but, even though I since found out he had been having a wild time tomcatting all round the world on his month long trip after the 6 months in Israel and had met an american chick he wanted to "date", I can't help but wonder if the fart sealed my fate... hmmm

What a waste of the 8 months he was away that I could have been tomcatting!

There was a young child we were following who was being a right toad, and DH went up behind him, farted, and quickly walked away.

The kid's mother (presumably) turned around horrified (she hadn't seen DH!), and told the child off for farting at the supermarket! DH nearly wet his pants laughing.

I had just to share my funny, I have been with my partner for 11 years now....he has not once farted in front of me! I don't know how he manages to hold onto it, but when he is alseep he lets rip! L O L ! So between his snoring and farting our house is quite noisey at night. I am pleased to say his son hasn't the same habit he farts and then laughs....tell me where does an 8 month old learn that? Def. not mummy!

Don't know if this will be much help but I have heard both fart and poo smells are related to the food that has been eaten. Does he eat lots of spicy/flavoursome foods like indian/mexican etc or lots of meat? LMAO!!!!!DP's farts dont stink they just sound really bad...and Lycan has done some shockers as well....We always giggle esp. when they go on forever or when its not even worth the effort of trying to let it out. I have been known to let it rip so much that i give myself a shock and if DP just happens to be home at the time we laugh so hard it hurts.

oh my friend did this to me...it's funny now but NOT at the time......We were standing at the counter waiting to be served and she let a MEAN SILENT & VIOLENT one go and walked outside and left me standing there. By the time I got a whiff my friend was outside laughing with tears in her eyes while I was standing there red faced being served.....I can only imagine what the lady that served me was thinking......

... for the curious - a cupcake is when they can't dutch oven you because you're not in bed but still won't let a good fart go to waste and ... so they cup their hands where the fart just arrived, 'grab' some air, and release it right in your face.  Who would have ever thought that such a stupid idea would actually work?!?  But hubby thinks it's hilarious.

Sometimes it is to do with the amount of fat they eat (the bad fats). If you cut those out and it makes a difference then there may be your answer. I have a problem. Some might think i am very shallow. Some might have the same problem (I hope) Some may just think I am nuts!

My partner has some problems with farting. I dont mind so much the amount of these "emissions" he does ..its just THEY REALLY STINK. To the point that I am getting quite turned off and it is not really pleasant. :o(


Does anyone have some remedies to stop the smell???
