thanks so much guys...its been so stressful...i have a lot of admiration for all those families who have children in the neonat wards and starship.

I am just so glad that our babies bounce back so quickly and i just hope that i dont have to use the 3 day pass i have...(so if anything goes wrong i can go straight back bypassing all the doctors etc)

Hey everyone....

Well yesterday was awful, but once they put the nasal gastric tube down, and started with fluids 35mls every hour for the first 4 hours...then 70mls every 2 hours...she perked up...and this morning drank a bottle (70mls) and 1/2 yoghurt and kept it down...and then 70mls at lunch time.

in the isolation ward, with a nasal gastric tube down her throat as she couldnt even keep an iceblock down.

I am only home long enough to have some dinner and a shower and then its back to the hospital for the night.

Thanks guys for all your kind thoughts over the past couple of days...its been really stressful and know that you have been here has been great.

I will update when i am back home...hopefully tomorrow
