Ro, they won;t take her under 6 months some sort of safety policy. That is only swimsation other ones may be different. I know private ones are from any age. well didnt realise we had to wait six months...mum used to be a coach at tepid baths and i was "thrown in" at 6 weeks old..and grew up associating swimming with smoker lollies (the pink ones)....still smell them sometimes when swimming..

I love swimming lessons. Andrew has been doing them now for a year and we are very lucky at getting them for half price (I am on leave from the pool) which is quite nice. I am really glad now Andrew is in the pool by himself so I don't have to get in with him.

I take Tyrell to West Wave and I am a little upset LOL to see you get a refund if she is sick! Tyrell wasn't allowed to go for 1 week with a sore ear, we only got it added to the next term....good way to get us back really.

Other than that it is fantastic and we both love it. I was shocked at the first class to see they put their head under....but we are both now used to it (Ok not so much the head under bit Tyrell still splutters)

I have to add I wear shorts and a singlet and feel pretty comfortable in that. There are so many people around the pool that they don't see you anyway they all have theirs heads on their own children. And the babies are in a special swim room.

The amount of men compared to women is huge and nice to see, out of 10 in our class there is 2 mummies!n Go the dads!

Ella loved the water from an early age, so I haven't bothered with lessons. I just signed Caitlin up for swimming lessons

$110 for 10 lessons and both me and DH can go at the same time and it's covered in the fee. If she really doesn't like it after a couple of classes we can get a full refund and any time she's sick and we can't go we get a refund or have the class added on for the next term, I thought that was particularly good.
