I also would only heat water - more because if I overheated it, it was easy to just tip out a bit and add cooler water and not muck up the amount in the bottle!]]>

Usually just heat the 200ml for 20 secs (800 watts), then add the formula.  The formula does mix easier, and for such a short burst of heat, the bottle can be well shaken and used straight away - never had a problem.<br />]]>

I just make extra sure the bottle is evenly shaken, and usually leave it to stand for a little while too. I usually also make sure her solids are well stirred, and blow on the food if need be.]]>
