(my cousin)</P><P>Other than providing all the nibbles after mum didn't have to do anything. (oh bring a towel for after the blessing with the holy water)</P><P>It is the named god parents who get up with the baby and have her blessed.</P><P>I was only a non catholic by stander so I am sure someone will be more specific.</P>]]>

I dont think the mother really ahs to do anything? <br />I have been to an adult baptism before but never a babies christening.<br />why not ask his mum? she should understand if your not a part of the same religion.<br />Or go to the church and ask the priest Im sure he would be more than willing to answer ny questions you have.]]>

DF is catholic and it is important to him that our child be baptised after it is born.  I have no religious background whatsoever but feel if it is important to him I dont mind.<br /><br />But.....what happens?
