I started WW when I was breastfeeding and I got 32 points. It's based on your weight and then you "add" points to the regular allowed points for your weight if you're breastfeeding.

Another thought -- can you get your Plunket nurse to write you a note? One of the chicks who goes to my WW got her Plunket nurse to write her the note she needed at one of her baby's Well Child checks. Then it would definitely be free!

Didn't make it to ww this morning anyhow, as I just couldn't get the kids coordinated. It's taken me 2 hours to do breakfasts, get them both dressed, and shower and dress myself and get dishwasher on and washing out! GGGRRRR! usually takes so much less time. Anyhow, dug out my old points book, (from 2000) so will go off that a bit till next week, couldn't find my points calculator though, so am winging it a bit. Fingers crosed. Only want to lose about 10kg, although I could definately lose 20kg, I just think that would be waaaaaay top hard to maintain... You should be able to just call your doc, get them to write you the note, then either have it sent out or pick it up. You shouldn't have to pay for it!

Ok, so I am going back to weightwatchers. Thing is, I need a Dr's note to do the breast feeding programme so I am told by my branch of ww. So, $65 for Dr, and $35 to rejoin and $16.95 meeting fee... Just cant afford that much. What I want to know, is if I go to WW and pretend I'm not bf, how many extra points can I have while BF? Just wanting to save the $65...
