My dream job came up when Jacob was 5 months old, and I had been determined not to go back to work till he was 12 months old. Fortunately it was at the same place, so they let me do it on "trial" for a month, and if I didn't like it I could go back on maternity leave, and that wouldn't be affected. Of course, I loved my new job even better, and am glad I took the plunge! I always said I wanted to get back into some sort of paid work once my PPL was up. I was sorta looking at starting a new job when Josh was about 5 months old (we really do need the money so even then was a stretch). DH is currently looking for a new job and gets the Seek job emails sent to us every morning. I opened it up this afternoon and found that my dream job is on there. It was the job I did (was on a fixed term contract) just before I got married and I so want to apply for the job as I think I have a high chance of getting it.
