I did a little more reaserch myself and spoke to the right people...that period was just a funky one but it come out that when I thought I tested positive in February I think it was and then had a VERY bad period (ie woke in the middle of the night with severe cramping and bleeding) that was highly likey early miscarriage.

Technically it is a miscarriage that occurs before a heartbeat is heard, but it is usually used to refer to a very early miscarriage ie. 4-6 weeks preg, where the egg does not implant properly.

I had a chemical Preg a month or so ago and it was awful :(

Could be, but I wouldn't worry yourself over it. It could also just be hormonal fluctuations etc. My cycle is quite often a day early or late, and if AF was a bit light it could just be the leftovers.

Has anyone experienced this?

My period came early this month and finished yesterday morning...(defintely over - all the normal tell-tale signs)...today however I've had some very light bleeding on and off.

A friend suggested this could possibly be an early miscarriage.
