I am in AKl, but I have a really good friend in CHC who is working as an independant MW. She is a really calm laid back person. She has been doing it for a few years now. I had barb too and yes she is fantastic and really experienced as Robyn said and she books really fast too. I will definitely have her as my midwife for the next time round and hopefully the time after that if she is still practicing.

I had Barb Harwood or is it Haywood, cant remember always get it confused. Anyway she is with Merivale Midwives and she is excellent. Help!! Please!!

HAve just found out that I am 6 weeks pregnant and am looking for a midwife in chch. Have been given a couple of names but am keen for more info from experienced people. I have no friends that have had babies yet so am really in the dark!
