Went to Mitre 10 and a couple of other chain DIY places and also to Chesters Plumbing in New Lynn. All say there USED to be something for touch ups

I am interested in this too, we have an old metal bath tub that has been resurfaced what looks like about 5 times and it is all peeling away and is a great dirt trap

If we can get it resurfaced quite cheapily, I'd be keen to do it before the baby arrives!

I work as an administrator for a Trade Services company and there is a product that we have used BUT it is very acidic but works wonders on the bath, I'd be very reluctant to use it if you've got young ones. Hmmmm *trying to remember*... we did our bathroom last year and fixed up a claw-footed bath we brought off trade me. We uad a product that did minor touch ups but I can't remember what it was!

We're looking into getting our old bath tub resurfaced during our bathroom renovations, doing the "sensible" thing and getting heaps of quotes for everything.
So far the 3 quotes I have are all around $500 our budget for the whole project including gibbing and flooring is $1000. I know I could get a whole new bath for $500 but I LOVE my bath! It's one of those old fashioned deep ones that you just sink into

Anyways, my poor old bath has seen better days and has ugly rust pit holes all down the end where the taps are and also around the plug hole. Besides that there is nothing wrong with it.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a product where you can just do touch ups to make it look less ugly until we can afford to get it resurfaced properly.
