Though the scan lady wasn't worried about it at all, so that was good, I never thought to check at all out.

When I told my mum she said had Placenta P and that's why she had an emergency c-sect with my younger brother. As they scan technology wasn't nearly as good they had no idea and my mum and bro almost died from the internal bleeding. So i'm glad we have scans these days!

Also just wondering, if it doesn't move for those of you with the placenta at the front, couldn't they make the cut up n down? I read up on this when i thought it might be a problem and pparently the placenta moves enough in about 90% of cases - fingers crossed for everyone it does - uless you want a c-sec of course!! lol

So if the placenta doesn't move up at all for a natural birth, even a c-section is risky as they'd have to cut through the placenta!! So they'd have to be quick with cutting then getting the baby out. Eek! Freaky stuff. So here's HOPING this placenta MOVES!!

It's quite common for the placenta to be low-lying at the halfway point, but as Baby grows bigger and bigger in the third trimester especially, it usually corrects itself. Hang in there! :)
