Bummer for you though <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />Kye, I don't think many places cover 'infertility' but most specialists will just write it under 'consultation' etc without stating infertility, from my little knowledge on the subject and after talking to my gyno about it. There's probably a clause in there (there is in mine) that says about the conditions your med ins doesn't cover.]]>

I had a big talk with my mum last night (didn't want to, but she was really understanding) as she still has my insurance info cos I'm under her work discount cover thing. She said go to the first appt with the specialist and then ring UniMed if need be. It depends on how many trips I'll need etc.]]>

I was under the private specialist for 3 months (2 rounds of clomid) that was with a ultrasound for each round of clomid and they reimbursed the whole lot, not sure how much more they would have paid for tho! sorry i'm probably not much help! Can you ring them to find out? I hope they pay it for you! Can your GP refer you for public funding? ]]>

I'm with UniMed, it says it doesn't cover treatment for infertility, but I do have specialist cover <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> I guess the infertility thing cancels the specialist cover? The sad thing is, we can't TTC on the drugs etc if we can't afford to go to the specialist...<br /><br />Any help ladies? I'm so confused and really sad at the moment (although I knew this was going to happen, I was told when I was 15 but still kinda hoped, you know?)]]>
