(nope we weren't even speeding). But it isn't raining in Akl and I'll bet it's a <em>lot</em> warmer too! I think I'd go for a sleep in too if I were in your situation.<br /><br />Oh no! I missed the striking information - I hope we don't have to wait too long. I'd like to know before we start the next cycle. <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />Hmm should be more positive make that <em>If</em> we start a new cycle. <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />wrxchic I'm a disaster in the morning - even waking up long enough to put a thermometer in my mouth is a challenge. It drives me insane some weekends cos most of it he could have got done during the week without my help if he got up early!!! Believe me things will be so different when im preg then again knowing my luck being preg will make me rise early haha <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> ]]>

I CAN'T SLEEP IN ... EVER <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0"> I will wake between 5.30am and 7am, never any later and I cannot go back to sleep. As soon as I stir a bit PING my eyes are open and I'm awake. Therefore if I need to get more sleep I have to make an effort to goto bed earlier. My whole family are early risers though, drives all of our partners nuts, but then again their sleeping in drives us nuts <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />Funny thinking about how cold it is down there. I'm in Auckland and today I woke up thinking Brrrrr it's cold ... I better put some socks on <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> I forget what real COLD is like. I grew up in Taupo where it often gets into the negatives over winter and I've gone sooo soft since moving.<br /><br />I hope you don't have to wait all week for the results. It's so annoying when they strike and you have tests waiting. ]]>

Would just be nice to get the results all at once so we can move on to the next phase.</P><P>So think of me here in FREEZING Dunedin, couriering our wee parcel to the lab at 10am in the morning, while you are sniggled up warm in bed (I hope so anyway, anyone who cant make the most of a sleep in, has some problems! Im soooo tired lately, that all I wana do is sleep!</P>]]>

I wonder if it was a joke though - they do tell you to keep the sample in cotton wool or next to your skin while traveling - but yeah hopefully they have some cotton wool on site for packing it.<br /><br />I get to transport DH's sample - though he's handing it over. She said an hpur was the max, and the lab lady said she even puts some samples down her top to keep them at body temp til they are tested. Wasnt sure how to take that, and not sure if DP would take the news too well1</P><P>I too, will have to take the sample in, just not a guy thing I guess. Will hopefully do it tomorrow, as Ive alredy done my bloodwork and all.</P><P>The lady at the lab said all our results (including the swimmers) will be available to us in 24-48hrs. Which I think is pretty quick.</P><P>Best wishes.</P>]]>

What the DHs don't know I guess!<br /><br />My doctor also told me that an hour is the limit. He said half an hour is ideal but anything over an hour is getting a bit dodgy. Luckily we got it there in about 20 minutes. DH flat refused to take it into MedLab, so I had to do it for him. He was pretty gutted about the transparent jar and bag!<br /><br />24 hours Lulu! That's such a big difference in people's experiences!]]>

But after their last stuff up I'm a bit dubious. <br /><br />We're going this Sat morning to hopefully beat the traffic as much as possible but we have to travel from Takapuna to Mt Wellington (which for all you non-Aklders is a fair distance esp given Akl drivers and Akl traffic). I don't think we'd make it in 30mins even at 8am on a Sat <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0"> Has anyone else been told an hour???<br /><br />p.s. It didn't worry me, my main concern was getting them to the lab within the specified 30 mins.
