Thanks ladies - feel better now!! If I see them this weekend, I will 'casually' mention that I have lots of books if ask if she would like to borrow them!! (I am prepared to not get them back!!)

ETA - the funny part of this story is that we live in a cul-de-sac with 7 houses, 2 of us are pg, 3 have had babies within the last 6 months. Something in the water maybe??

I think its a lovely thought. I am sure she will say no thanks if she didn't want them or already has them but yes maybe mention it in a conversation over the fence and then take them round. I have new neighbours (the last ones were HORRID!!) and I met the lady yesterday. They seem very nice - so thats a relief. We were talking and she told me that her teenage daughter (who lives with her, along with her daughters boyfriend) is pregnant and due in late Oct / Nov time.

 

I have got a tonne of pregnancy books, and some duplicates (where different friends have all given me the same book!!) and I was thinking of taking some over to her to borrow, but would this seem a bit pushy? Wanted it to be a nice 'hey we are neighbours and pregnant and due close to each other' kind of thing, but am worried I might just come across as pushy and nosey.

 

Thoughts?
