Hi Sunny, I have been thru terminaitions when I was much younger, lots of things surrounding and leading to these. The biggest factor when I was ttc was the feeling of self worth and 'did I deserve another chance at having a baby' - answer being YES, for whatever reason you had a termination, it was the right reason and right choice for you at the time as these decisions are not made lightly. Accept that that was the past and you are in different circumstances now and the timing is right.

I had a termination a while back as well which i know was the right choice for me and im happy with it. Now ttc i am really impatient because i know i could get preg before. I figured since it happened unintentionally once it should be easy but its not working out that way. I think knowing that i am happy with the decision i made back then it isnt effecting me now.

Hi Sunny I haven't had this personally either but have heard it's pretty common. Might even help to talk with a counsellor about it? (I know that sounds scary!) I haven't had this, but I know my friend did when she was pregnant. What got her through was the fact that she was pregnant with a much supportive partner and she had more support from friends around her while she was pregnant. Now she is a step-mum she is glad she did have the termination as the mother (of her SS) is a pain to deal with and she thinks about having to deal with her ex with a child and is happy with her decision. I am currently TTC but are having trouble being totally happy about it. I think my feelings are down to a prior termination that I had when I was much younger. Has anyone else had the same experience?
