Hey Becks man that time went fast from when you posted that you were having a c-section.

Well good luck can't wait to hear about your little girls weight etc.  I'm sure all will be fine will be thinking of you 2morrow let us know how it goes when you get a chance.

I know what you mean about the name thing, Blair has two middle names so i wanted these babies to have 2 middle names aswell just to keep them the same as such.

Ryan will prob be Ryan Mark Shane and Katelyn well we are still thinking for her.  Still got a little bit of time left to think but we better get our act together they will be here before i know it and i dont want a nameless baby girl.

We think the names are going to be Ryan and Katelyn (thats how my husband wants to spell it so she can be called kate for short).  Do you have any girls names yet?  Have you found it hard to pick girls names over your boys names?

I guess the specialist will give me a time when we get closer to the date and depending on what happens work towards that.  I agree Becks at least we know when we have to have everything organised by which i suppose is a good thing.

I now what you mean it was hard enough breast feeding one baby in the beggining let alone two at least i know that i will have the milk like you as i leak now also and when i was breast feeding Blair i had so much milk i could have Breast feed twins then.

Thats not a bad idea having formula on hand for just in case i never thought of that good thinking Becks.

I live in Te Puke and am having my babies in Rotorua we just moved here.  Yep they have a mother craft unit in Rotorua my sister in law (nicky) stayed in there when she had Kyan who was premature so i've had abit to do with it and also spent abit of time in SCBU.

The whole breast feeding thing is abit scary but will give it ago and see how it all works out.

Hey Becks i know the feeling i packed the babies hospital bag yesterday and lucky i brought a big bag cause man is there alot of stuff to take in and i don't even know if i've packed enough.

I've been thinking about all that stuff lately aswell i remember how hard it was in the beggining with Blair and this time i have to do it with do.  I'm going to Breast feed and see how it goes are you going to breast feed or bottle feed (hope you don't mind me asking)?  I guess it will be all about trial and error and will just have to figure out what works best. 

Good Luck with all the packing and getting ready for your girls to be born i'm getting really excited for you.

Did you pick the 21st or did the specialist.

I beat your counting down the days now.  We have just moves house and i have finally been able to do my babies room up so thats good just busy washing clothes and sorting everything out.  Its seems to take twice as long because there is 2 of everything, but i guess i will get there soon enough i hope its all sorted by the time they get here.

I had my scan yesterday and he weighs 3lb 14oz and she weighs 3lb 13oz so they are very close in weight.  My boy is still leading and head down but she is breech not that it matters when i'm having a c-section. 

Cool Becks your babies will be a good size then, what did the specialist say about having the babies?  I see my specialist next Thursday.

Well i had my scan yesterday and everything is great the babies are growing well.  She is 2lb 9oz and He is 2lb 6oz and there sizes are perfect with my dates aswell so it was so good to know that they are growing well.  He is still head down but she is breech but if i do decide to have a c- section then that won't matter at all. And yes it cost me $20 which i didn't think is would as i had been referred by my obstetrician but never mind.

Thanks to everyone on the advice and your experience's with c-section's i guess now its just a matter of me making up my mind as to what i want to do.

Hey everyone, well went and saw the obstetrician yesterday about whether or not i could have a natural birth or if i had to have another c-section and he said that it would be best if i had another c-section.  I was planning on having them naturally if everything was fine but he said that its safer for me to have a c-section, but its still my decision.

When i had one with my son i was asleep and the obstetrician said that i will be awake for this one, i'm freaking out abit about being cut open while still awake (hope that doesn't gross anyone out) and being able to hear everything.  I know that being awake is better for me and i will get to see my babies straight away.  If any of you have had a c-section while awake please tell me that its not as bad as it think its gona be and put my mind at ease.
