There was a restaurant in Tga called Picolla Italia (very yummy italian!) & many years back whilst walking down the street with my Dh (was my boyfriend back then) we walked past the sign & I said "Italia" that would be a pretty girls name (bit like Natalia). Thank you. I also have a phoenix on my right sleeve (shoulder to just above the elbow, it doesn't go right the way around though) which I got done at 5 weeks pregnant (didn't know I was pregnant then).

I haven't taken any photos of that one because it's unfinished.

And ironicly Olivia is named after my nick name and not the other way around!

Well, mine is a few years old and is a shortened version of Extraordinary Machine, which is the name of one of my favourite singers third album! Fiona Apple that is. I don't really listen to her a whole lot anymore.

I used it for a few different messageboards and to be honest, when I joined this one, I didn't actually think I would become SO addicted! But I did.

I was going to change it when baby was born though, so I might just change it now..

It's now been changed to neeandsam, as my name is Renee, and the knees first baby is Sam.

well the one i wanted was taken...altho the person never seems to chat so....

i had to find another one and so wondered about a play on my name and then remembered i had my antz pantz on that said in glittery writing (yes right across the butt)

BOMBSHELL!!!!

DH saw them on the other day and went - OMG thats where you got yur oh baby name...LMAO (literally!!!)

lol am sure that noboddy would ever believe the nickname i had on yahoo chat back when i was 18.... i could not believe it when the suggestions they give you when you type in one key word came up with that word comination suggestion.. lol so i took it. it got alot of people talking to me... unfortunately for the wrong reasons lol

cos we luv our babies! although i am sure Emma can tell you she gets called Maya a hell of alot!

although i put mum2paris.. but i can't change it.. on NZWP i am mum2parisayja.. but still. it would feel weird here to change it as i started here as just that.. mum2paris.. not anyone else, it's like my badge of honor.. lol nah, it's just special in some weird way.

Am sure GandT is short for Gabriel and Toby..(not gin and tonic as we would all think lol..)

Right - I'm curious about some of the nicknames on here.  What do they mean?  Where'd they come from?   They intrigue me - can their owners help? 

Chovynz?  Gandt?  eomachine?   Nikkiwhyte?

....OK I'm kidding Nikki.  Yours is pretty self-explanatory.

 

OH - and why do some people choose their child's name as their nickname on Oh Baby?  Seems a bit of a tradition here.  But I don't get it!  Can anyone enlighten me?
