Hi

Our antenatal group was introduced to Melanie at www.babyonthemove.co.nz who was demonstrating what to look for in a capsule/carseat so I thought I would let those of you in the Waikato know that they also do capsule/carseat fitting.

In Hamilton, although not professionally qualified, our babyonthemove rental people said that even if you don't rent a capsule or carseat from them, that they are quite happy to install/fit ANY capsule/carseat in your car free of charge -

If you're not able to get to Panmure to have it checked, Plunket carseat centres will help you install them free of charge too.
I was completely baffled when we moved Benjy out of his capsule and into his rearfacing seat, and having someone who knew what they were doing install it was a big relief.

I had my carseat checked by a Safe2Go technician yesterday and was shocked to find out how much was wrong with it. I'll be posting an article on the site soon for everyone to read about my mistakes.
