I must admit I had to be extra brave as Dh had brought the kids in so he could drop off some money, just as they were giving me the injections it took every ounce of strength not to yelp, but I couldn't with the kids watching. The whole thing just seems so ridiculous.

Did not help today that I stepped on a toy and then Abby stood on my toe. Thankfully the stitches are still in place. Dumb, dumb, dumb!! I had an operation on my foot a few years ago complete with injections between the toes and boy do they hurt!! FOOT!

I am feeling really stupid right now. Last Sunday I steped on a piece of broken glass at home (abby broke one the night before) and it hurt like heck. On Monday I had really sharp pains in my toe and had a look and pulled out two tiny pieces of glass. And my toe felt heaps better.

Then Yesterday I had sharp stabbing pains in my toe and foot and it spread up my leg. So off to hospital and five hours later they discovered there is still a 4mm piece of glass in my toe. So they cut it open and spent 20 mins digging around for it FYI needles between the toes really really hurt. They couldn't find it as apparently it's straight up and down not sideways. So now I have to go and see a surgeon in two weeks and if it hasn't resolved or come out they will operate using xrays to remove it as it's sitting on a nerve!!! Hence the pain.

I am currently feeling really as it was just a stupid little piece of glass and now they are talking surgery.
