Put the girls to bed and make one night all about you! Have a bath, shave your legs etc, and then put your pj's on and watch girlie movies! Eat lots of chocolate and have a nice glass of your fave alcohol!

My DP used to go away regularly, I used to catch up on all the girlie flicks I hadn't seen. Go to the pool for a swim and treat myself to spa or sauna. Cook and eat all the stuff DP doesn't like. And usually eat far to much chocolate. for 5 days at the beginning of July, for work. So instead of pining away, I'm going to enjoy myself!

Just wondering what ideas you have? My boarder bro will also be out of town so I'll probably have the kids in tow most of the time. I thought we might arrange an afternoon tea with a friend who also girls my girls' ages, and we might do some baking together like fruit jelly. And then last night I was thinking, wouldn't it be fun to have a (big) girls' night, put my girls to bed and have some friends over for fondue? and a movie?
