These days I pretty much eat whatever EXCEPT for pizza!! For some reason she is a total nightmare the day after I have pizza and every now and again I "test" to see if she has gotten over the reaction but it still happens. I'm happy to leave it out until I stop breastfeeding now..

All three of my girls have reacted badly to things in my diet, Maya was Fails to Thrive and had bleeding in her gut from dairy in my diet, and the gremlins screamed non stop and had chronic reflux from something in my diet, we were never able to identify the culprit, but as soon as they were weaned onto formula they settled within a week.

ETA: Spicy foods, garlic etc. never seemed to affect Maya tho

Edited by Maya

Some babies actually do get affected though.

SarahBeth, I also had to watch what I ate, onions, garlic etc. I only found this out when Brenna was 6 weeks old and when I cut out certain foods, I had a VERY different baby. She was much more settled and happy. I am pleased I made these sacrifices as it was worth it! I was so close to giving up b/f but pleased now that I made some changes and perservered. Well done for finding out that info! Not all babies are the same
