This is a great thread.

Christopher, I love you for teaching me to be a mum, for letting me grow up with you, for making me a stronger person, for forgiving all my mistakes, for giving me hugs when I need them most, for making me laugh the deepest belly jiggling laughs ever - you are an amazing person and while I can't for the next phase of your life and the continuation of our journey together, I cherish every day I have with you . You and I have been through a lot together and come out the other side pretty damn well.

Noah, you are a fat round monkey I love the special smiles you have just for me, I love your laugh and I love your hands the most. I love that even though you love your hands the most too, you still let me play with them. Andrew: Even when you do the most naughtiest things in the world you still know how to say sorry and know that you have done wrong. For being a good big brother and knowing that when mummy says it's time to be quite you go off and play in your room quietly. For giving everyone cuddles and kisses when its time to say goodbye or when your friends are sad.

Conor - I love you because you are my dear old soul, who's so quiet and humble, and loves his little sister so much. I love that laugh of yours that echos thru the house every night without fail. Also because we've been through so much together before we met Craig, and you showed so much strength for such a little boy...I'm sorry that stuff happened to us, but now we have such a great family that we'll be fine, you can stop worrying about your mum now, cause she's happy at last.

Nyah - I love you, because you are such a grown up young lady, your laugh, smile and huggles are the best. You have your dad's sense of humour and your mum's stubborn-ness. You have the most unusual dress sense for a 4 yr old, but it suits you! You are definitely the clown in the family and we love it!

Emma Rose -- I love you because I didn't think I would know how to love you. You were such a surprise, and I thought that having you would derail all of the plans I had made for my life. Your birth threw me for a loop, but it also opened up a whole new world of possibilities I never knew existed. My life as I knew it did end with your arrival, but an even better life began, and that is the biggest reason that I love you -- for forcing me to take risks and believe in myself, for reminding me what's really important in the world, and for showing me that being a mother doesn't have to mean abandoning my dreams -- being your mother can actually make my dreams come true. Sam - Even though he is only little, a wonderful personality and strength is starting to emerge from him. He's bloody strong willed and fought every single nurse and midwife that came into the hospital room. He has a beautiful smile and chubby little cheeks and even when I'm up at 3AM and he's wide awake and determined not to go to sleep, I love him to bits!

Interesting tidbit: When I was 38 weeks pregnant, Sam turned into a kneeling breech. I had a scan that week and one of the pictures shows his hands up in sort of a praying position.

We had named him Samuel pretty much at my 20 week scan so it was interesting to find out that Samuel actually means 'Heard by God'.



He's going to be a naughty wee thing though, I can just tell.

james-i love my baby because of the joy and smiles he brings to the house how he loves to sing and will sing to/with his nana his chekky smile and addoable laugh how he loves with everything he has and can make me laugh theres just to much to list

Taine - for being the naughtiest child I know and being into everything,. but giving the sweetest smiles so you have to forgive him straight away. and for being my "hey. everything is a tad quiet" child, and finding him standing in the toilet pulling the paper around him like a bandage.

Jake for syaing the funniest things recently, pretending the stapler is an alligator that eats hair, for patting taine when he cries and asking "awight Taine?", and for curretnly swinging in the closet yelling "i'm a monkey mamma ooooh aaaah"

I love this post great idea got me really thinking after the morning we have had.    Great idea.

 

Alan He has the most amazing personality alway's happy and smilieing very loving.  I love the way he is learning new thing's even if does come out with naughty word's at the wrong time.

I'm in a warm fuzzy kind of mood today and was sitting here thinking about my children and realised that although I love them all equally, I love them for different reasons. Some of which are:

ABIGAIL I love her because she has the most amazing personality she is cheeky and funny and can light up a room with her smile. She can make even the grumpiest person in the supermarket smile back at her. She is my little ray of pink in an other very boyish house.

JAYDEN I love him because he is the sweetest, most caring and sensitive boy I know. He is forever thinking about other people and making and drawing pictures or making presents for those he loves. He has an amazing smile that just makes you want to hug him and he is so eager to learn new things.

MICHEAL I love him because even though he has had it harder than some and will miss out on so much when he gets older, he never lets it get him down. He is always willing to try anything whether he can do it or not he will give it a go. He is sooo compassionate about all living creatures and loves to learn about them all.
