wow, and i thought my mum drove me up the wall.....
I know there is no way i'm going to be my mother,
i think it must be the generation thing, it's either a moaning session or it's all about her and how i should boost her up, and tell her how great she is...between her and my sister!!!!!!!!!!

I mean i'm not her friend! i don't want to hear about why my dad annoys her, i love my dad... the best man ever!!!
She comes from a family of 13, so she bitches all the time!! and insecure, always rings up to talk about how great she thinks she is...blah blah

funny, mother aye.....

well i guess we can't do much about them... good luck with yours..... hard when your living there....
lucky for me mine is over an hour away, and i screen my calls so if i can't be bothered to hear it then no worries....

hhhmmmm that sounds like my DH!! too nice to say NO!!! and i kinda think that we should do it up for her cos she is letting it go to crap!!! oh and DH doesnt get payed for it either hes just a nice person!

I don't know if this is at all similar, but my mum's hubby did lots of building work for her (at a really good rate!) and all she could do was whinge about it. Mum (and everyone else on the planet) has advised him since to just tell her to find another builder but she always asks him and he's too nice to say no. It almost lead to a huge family break up as Granny blamed mum's hubby for a whole lot of stuff that went wrong when it wasn't his fault at all!

Anyway, let her pay for a builder next time and see how she likes it And unfortunately I think whinging gets worse with age. for once this is about my mother and not my MIL!! i just have to have a big moan about her!!! - she is driving me and the rest of the world nutts with her constant moaning!!! shes always been a moaner but god is she getting worse!!
We are living with her while DH does up her house for her and everytime he does something she has to moan about it instead of saying thankyou! for example we just painted to fence and we got a bit of paint on the ugly plant stuck to the fence and she had a big moan about it!! then she moaned about DHs tools being in the laundry!! - well they are there cos hes doing work for her!!.
The other day she went to get her hair done by my sis who is a hair dresser and instead of saying thankyou i like it she moaned cos it wasnt the same as last time!!

the past few weeks she has been asking DH and i to do almost everything for her!! like flip her matress!, do her dishes, cook her tea, run her earins etc!! and when i said to her that she is going to need to start doing it for herself as DH is still not up to doing anything after his accident! and i obviously shouldnt be flipping matresses!!! ..well her answer to that was "well someone should be helping me too!! i am handicapped!" WTF!!! that excuse is soooooo stale! shes been handicapped for 26 years now!! and coped just fine by herself until we moved in and she wants us to do everything for her!!

Shes not welcome at my inlaws anymore cos on my DHs birthday there she moaned constantly to my FIL and everyone else that they didnt have the drink she wanted!! and that the house stunk!! (cos they were cooking muscles!!), and this makes me feel stink and unwelcome! cos shes my mother!!

gggggrrrrrrr iv harped on enough although i could fill a novel with my rant but il stop here for now!! if anyone has a rant to add go for it!! or comment - go for it!!
