I have noticed that Gina tends to drink more when I've had a banana at least an hour beforehand - guess she likes banana flavoured milk Sorry, can't help otherwise as I haven't got my AF yet.

    Author: busymum
Subject: 8845
Posted: 06 July 2007 at 12:21pm

Can anyone remind me why I was anxious for my AF to return? I've heard before that bm can change flavour during AF and it seems to be the case: Hannah took exception to it (for one week only), Briona didn't care, and Krystiana is now taking exception. She learnt how to scream early this week and she's my baby who hardly ever cries!!!! And as for feeding - she only snacks. Often she will ask for a feed, suckle til the milk comes in, and then change her mind - frustrating! So her sleep is snacking as well

Anyone got any tips? Or been there? This is all I can find (in various forms) on Google - rather unhelpful.

"Some babies may detect a slight change in the taste of the milk just before a period, again, due to hormonal changes. These same babies may nurse less often or less enthusiastically during this time as a result."
