I read on the Toddler Milk tin that it was for "fussy eaters" so would be used as a top up only rather than a scheduled feed?

Yea I am just going to give him the dark blue top things. I don't understand who it can still be milk with all those extra tihngs in it. It just can't be normal?!?!?!

what type of milk did you start with? The dark blue kind? Someone suggested to me the other day that the new Mega Milk has just as much good stuff in it as formula.

haleigh was only having 3 cups milk at that stage so we did morning & night formula and lunchtime cows, then once she was enjoying the cows milk at lunch (we started her at 11months with karitane nurse approval) once she was 1 she was havong cows milk in morning and night and replaced the milk at lunch with water.

we added things like fruit, sprinkling of flavour to the milk till she got used to it.

I have been giving Erin her 3x bottles with 50/50 water/milk and a couple of scoops of the toddler milk formula powder, and in the next day or so will increase the amount of milk, until it is all milk with just one scoop of powder. Yip he has a sipper cup and loves it. He is not too sure about it when you put milk in the cup though.

See if he will take milk/water from a cup, and if he doesn't like the milk taste, put a bit of milo in it.

I just went straight to cows milk basically. For about a week I would give one feed milk the next forumla until I finished my last tin then just did the cows milk. Some people say to give half and half in a bottle so bubs gets used to it but Ive never had to do that cos both children have taken to cows milk straight away. Ethan is 1 next month and I was thinking about this the other day.

How did you go about weaning from formula to cows milk?

Ethan is still having 3-4 bottles a day, so do I give cows milk in these bottles or do I cut them out?
