It's what my older stains are doing. Each time they go in the sun they disappear more and more.]]>

I never knew about it until my mum suggested we put DD's lovely woolen singlet that got meconium poo all over it <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif" border="0"> in the sun to get the stain out (after washing it, of course).  Worked a treat.<br />Apparently you can also hang stuff out on a cloudy day and the UV that gets through the clouds will still whiten, just takes a bit longer.<br />]]>
