What kind of good restaurant are you after? Me and O are heading to McD's at 2.30pm for a Mummy meet up if ya wanna stop in and say hi :)
Croweded House makes ok food (OK as in OK) Lone star makes pricey large food but that is GOOD. I haven't heard anything about Breakers and that is the closest to you. Cyclone BSDH is en route...and likely to cause a little less damage than recent storms...

Weather in Auckland is for clearing weather, less storms, a little cold at night but able to warm up by stretching out and bundling up by BS!!!

Oh yeah - could be a little storm brewing when BSDH touches down in taupo tomorrow...so duck for cover if late afternoon storm hits...
