I will try that tonight.<BR><BR>We have cut out all but 1 of his bottles during the day. We had our Plunket appointment with a Karitane person and she told me we were giving him too much milk. <BR>The following day he got a tummy bug and we took him to Gp and he was to have no milk for 2 days at all. So from there we are only giving him a night bottle.</P>]]>

No soft toy to mention....maybe we need to find 1 he likes.<BR><BR>When we go in and talk to him/calm him he is wide awake, put him back in his cot and he cries.</P><P>I have always manged to get through the day with a V, but am now trying to loose weight and oh my gosh I sure did miss it today!</P>]]>

Put him to bed with it, then when he cries in the middle of the night go to him straight away (before it escalates), give him a quick cuddle, kiss, cuddly toy, whisper 'goodnight' and go out and shut the door.<br /><br />But that might work better if he was 9mos not 12 <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">]]>

I feel we have tried just about everything, but seem to be getting no where. I am not a huge fan of CIO but have tried on numerous occasssions, it took longer for us to calm him each time.<BR><BR>He is a good sleeper during the day and will have 2, 1 hour naps. <BR>There is&nbsp;no problems putting him down at night, he just wont sleep through.</P><P>There is no set time that he gets up, but for 1 week now I have put him in bed with me as it has been easier (yes naughty) But after he kicked me off the bed last night I have had enough and need a decent nights sleep (I work full time)<BR><BR>I am up for any suggestions to see if we are doing something wrong????<BR></P><P>&nbsp;</P><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by amy</span>]]>
