Not so glad its reflux, Elle has the same thing and I am finding the Gaviscon helps heaps. She was also the same after a bath, and then I was given a mirror on the stand (you know one of those make-up mirrors, that magnify on one side and other is normal), I pop it down beside her and aim it at her so she can see herself and this often distracts her, along with my singing silly songs to her. She is much better now, still dislikes it but is better. Maybe try something like this for Daniel????? - Worth a shot!

Daniel has now on his 3rd sleep for the afternoon/evening which is a vast improvement over the past few days. When Tristan was around 1 month to 3 months i had similar problems where he wouldnt sleep anywhere except in my arms. We thought he had colic and then we thought he had reflux but niether of them were diagnosed. Eventually we just got through it and now he is amazing....weve definatly never looked back! Some things that definatly helped ME through those hard times ws putting on some lovely music (we used Celine Dion " Miracles" ) turned it up loud enough so the crying wasnt as ear piercing (which for my son was really loud) but not too loud so that the music hurt our ears and just walked around the room lost in my own thoughts. It definatly made a difference in my mood which nearly always had an effect on Tristan! I also used to take him into the bathroom and turn on the shower full boar. Tristan loved the sound of water and it at least stopped the crying long enough for me to collect myself! Sometimes he would even fall asleep during these things! So for me they really worked! I know how you feel and wish you the best of luck! Remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Other than these 3 days though the only time he's quite unsettled is after his 4am feed and thinks its daytime.

Do you swaddle him at all?
He's always swaddled for his sleeps otherwise he smacks his face lots and wakes himself up more

Do you make sure he burps after a feed or burp him mid-feed?
I always try and burp him but it rarely ever gets anything out. He farts it out

Does he respond to soothing music at all?
No unfortunately

Tried the dummy, it gets spat out. Eventually he sleeps for maybe 15mins then screams again.

He will sleep fine on me but as soon as he's moved he screams like crazy.

Then an hour after his last feed he wants more and off goes the cycle.

I've tried everything I can think of, he doesn't sleep in the pram or the car. And now of course he's overtired and getting more and more overtired the longer this goes on because he doesn't actually get any decent sleep.

Any suggestions at all?? Please
