gee thats really nice of them ! not. Ashleigh got a bladder infection when she was 6 months old and the nurses at Middlemore made me feel AWFUL because they spread her right apart to do a catheter sample and told me she was absolutely filthy    It was just some nappy cream and "stuff" right up the top that you can't get to unless you "spread". Sounds like you are doing alright anyway.

But then there are times when somehow they get poos right up there!?!? So strange... anyway, I make an effort to make sure to get those bits as poos can't be good up there.

I think it depends what your used to. I found my girls way easier to change compared to Alize Nearly 8mths on and Im getting the hang of all those bits and pieces lol.

Yep I agree with what everyone else said, cleaning what you can see does the trick.

Ok when Caprece was born I was quite scared about changing her nappy cos I just had no idea how far to go in if that makes sense. I asked the midwives at hospital to show me how to do it but they just said I will know

I have just sort of been cleaning what I can see is that right or do I need to clean a bit in more than that?
