Nah its not the way he walks, its the actual shape of his legs. They are like Popeye's, bent outwards from the knee down.
Everything I have read since o/p seems to say it is quite normal and they will grow out of it.

Unfortunately Benjy doesn't get a one year check at plunket, his next is 15 months.
Luckily I remembered my good friend google, and found heaps of sites confirming what you said. Its normal in 95% of cases, and they usually grow out of it between 1-2 years old. I think all young ones look pretty bandy legged and they seem to grow out of it. I'd not be at all concerned.

Andrew was an early walker as well and doesn't have any issues. I did think when he was about 11 months old he had that but he was fine. My Braebee walked at 9mnths & doesnt have bow/bandy legs.
A friend's boy's walked early too & both have/had bandy/bow legs. The 4yr old came right but the 2yr old still walks funny..
Personally I would be worried as my family have a history of club foot. GMIL has made a few comments about how Benjy is 'bow-legged' or 'bandy legged' because he walked too early. It is true, he is very bow legged looking, but until she started repeating herself I hadn't thought it was anything to be concerned about as Ella walked at 10 months too and she hasn't got popeye legs now!
