yes, digi could be more my style...I am inherently lazy!!! so I could see that if I was cutting and sticking I would get half way through and never finish it and leave a mess everywhere...hence I am very cautiuos about getting into this

i have some wedding scrapbooking stuff on trade me for sale....who was my aunt thinking of when she sent me like 5 lots of scrapbooking stuff a year after my wedding.I asked for one --one around time of wedding and i havent even done that let alone FIVE!!!!

If you dont want to spend heaps and do lots of mucking aroun with paper and stickers trying to get it to look right, and all your photos and digital......

Why not digital scrpabooking.   Play around with the elemnts on the computer, then print them out once you are happy....

Yeah, Warehouse is great...

I'm a scrapbooking and craft junkie... I spent a whopping $250+ at the Warehouse in the craft section alone doing a top up shop... So yes, they do have quite a lot - Warehouse Stationary do too...

The trick with scrapbooking is to keep a really open mind though, you'll find that if you have a really specific idea, it generally won't happen seeing as you're so focused on making sure it's perfect - You'll find (as cliched as it sounds) that a lot of the beauty in handmade stuff like that, is in it's imperfections.

Look out for all different types of media too (media being materials) even if you just a buy a pack of stickers or something on a whim every now and then - Sooner or later you'll end up with a whole treasure trove full of goodies that you'll be spoilt for choice! I did a scrapbook album for Matthew's first year. It takes forever but looks really cool. Spotlight is really good for getting scrapbooking stuff from & some Warehouse stationery's are as well. There is a scrapbooking shop on Riccarton Rd. The top end by Harakeke st. They do classes and stuff and have heaps of cool paper. Go to a scrapbooking shop and see if they hold class nights, they often have a "free" (you pay for what you use) beginners nights. It is VERy easy to get hooked!! I don't do scrap booking but I know that art supplies stores sell scrapbook kits. i am wanting to make an album for my baby but I dont really like any of the premade ones that are out there so I thought I would make my own.
