(a little too good if you ask me..) mum came and helped out after i had paris, but she did everything, especially stuff i had just said i was gonna do... it made me feel like she thought i couldn't handle doing it.. was probably just helping out of the goodness of her heart but i took everything to heart and saw it as an insult.

now if people give me advice i say thank you, smile and most of the time just ignore it or store it away for a desperate situation in case it might actually work.

My mum is great, she only offers advice when I ask, but my MIL is really good at 'suggesting' better ways of doing things (I'm remembering my wedding!!). Plus she has had 4 kids and is a nurse so is always playing with babies. BTW, she works at the community hospital where I'm delivering, so please everyone cross your fingers for me that she isnt on duty that day! She has booked the week off after my due date so hopefully she will be off. I feel bad now in saying that cos we do get on well, I just think the best way to learn is to work things out yourself or ask!!
