Someone is telling you incorrect info. Your blood type has no baring on the sex gametes in the egg and sperm. The egg will always have x chromosomes, sperm are a mix of x and y. You just happened to have x sperm fertilise the egg each time. My husband and I are both o pos and have a boy and now a girl. Its all down to chance. Good luck getting your boy though. Well only just found this forum, I'm due with my little man on the 10th of May - although if anything like my daughter (who is also a May baby) he will make his presence known sooner.
I'm in a tough spot right now, single mum already and soon to be single mum to 2. Trying to be as positive as possible, but find it a little hard to be excited sometimes. So tired!

HOw are your nurseries coming along? I've done nothing, and we thought since we will be having baby in our room with us for a wee while, we've put off doing anything with the nursery until after the birth. Maybe this is a mistake, but just a bit overwhelmed now with the realisation we only have 3 months to go. So much decluttering to do...
I've been looking at some beautiful nurseries on apartmenttherapy.com there are a couple of grey rooms with lovely accents.

Hi May Mammas!  Just thought I'd pop in here and say hi.  My wee boy was due end of March, but I ended up having him end of December!  Anyway, there's ended up being a few of us from the March 2013 group that have met our wee bundles earlier then expected, so we figured that chances are it'll happen to other groups too - so we've started up a support forum on here - just listed under preemie babies.  Just thought I'd let you know incase anyone needs someone in a similar situation to talk to.

I undrestand exactly what you're going through Perky. We are renovating our house and have walls already knocked down but can't rebuild or relocate the bathroom and kitchen as planned until the council give consent. At this rate works aren't likely to begin until January and so it'll be a fine timeline as to whether they're finished before bubs arrives. Hi everyone.

I'm new here. First baby due May 13 and a friend suggested I join OhBaby. We're currently in Chch but moving to Wanaka at the end of Feb (29 weeks) so keen to meet up with any mums in the Wanaka area. We're also building a house that alas won't be finished in time for bubs and i don't fancy living in the barn with a newborn! So were going to be doing a few juggling acts with rental places so that I can have a kitchen and laundry. Nothing like doing everything all at once!!

Looking forward to our anatomy scan in 2 weeks and were going to find out if its blue or pink. We're actually going to get the technician to write it down on a card and place it in an envelope for Xmas day. We figured it would be a nice surprise seeing as Xmas is only a week after our scan.

Nervous and excited as only just starting to look at nursery furniture and have no idea where to start with baby clothes....arrgghhh!!

From looking through the MANY pages of forum posts, it looks like there is a private forum. Oh the GC would of been so nice to relax ans soak up the sun :)
Symptoms come and go all the time, they have for me and always a few days before a scan which freaks you out even more going to it!!
I had my 12 week scan yesterday and everything was great, one very cute little bub hanging out in there :) was so awesome!

Symptoms have kinda gone away which is a bit worrying but only a week to wait for my 12 week scan to make sure everything's ok. How are you? I see you are 12 weeks yay...have you had your scan yet? Very excited, booked our official nuchal scan for next friday i should be 13 weeks 2 days according to our scan last week. i wish i could post pics but sadly cant put them on computer coz no way of doing it and cant put on fb yet :(

we did one held at Three Kings centre under the library with my number 1 and i dont know if we will be able to do them this time around but im going to find out because it is DH's first. we had a coffee group but all teh ladies were older than me at the time (i was only 21) and Vincent was the eldest in the group coz of the timings of the class and i was the only one initially who went back to work. I never found i jelled with them well but even if we dont do the classes this time around im going to look for a good coffee group. i used to run a playgroup and this disbanded coz most teh kdis went to school or kindy so no longer have that but i felt i missed out on a good coffee group coz i had to return to work so early on with Vincent then never had one and didnt know people around here when i had David.

Hey LadyBee, I will PM the admin, and no I'm not getting a scan at 12 weeks, I had a dating scan at 8 weeks and it was fine, but I'll wait until the 20 weeks for the next. I'll know at my midwife app at 12 weeks if they can hear the heartbeat, if not then I'll go for a scan. But have had a MC in the past so I'm a little wary. So sad to hear Youngin, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm freaking out a bit at the moment with my morning sickness has almost gone, which is weird for me. I usually have it so bad but the last 10 days its been not bad at all. I'm praying everything is OK will go to the midwife at 12 weeks and hopefully hear the heartbeat.

Also hoping to buy van this week, we're thinking an Estima, does anyone recommend any others? We want a 7 seater but with wide seats for carseats. So we'll see.

And does someone want to set up the private forum, I'm not sure if I can do it as I'm not a senior member, but I think Angiebaby will organise it for us. As I'm not that keen on the FB Forums, and we can share just what we want on the OB private one, like photos, etc.

Arrr MS sucks !!
After 3days in hospital an 9 bags of fluids in the first 24hrs I am now on Metoclopramide an Cyclizine every 8hrs (which means getting up at 2am every morning but I'm so not missing any) an Ondansetron when I feel like im going to vomit during the day, an touch wood it's working.
After a scan at 71/2 weeks I was told I had 'resorbing twin syndrome' so this is prob why I've been so sick. Hoping it gets better soon - I'm 9 weeks now an I can't remember what it feels like not to feel sick anymore

That sucks Peaches. Have you talked to your GP about taking something to stem the vomiting? Scan went super well :) healthy little bub :) stayed nice and still for the sonographer to get some good pics! Any1 had fibroid on their uterus while preg?? - im getting checked for this as my uterus is measureing 16weeks when i was only 10wk 6days :/
