Has anyone else had trouble with Maternity Direct??
I purchased two tops from them on 26th March, and they still have not arrived.
They Charged CC straight away though.
Ive tried contacting them by phone: No answer
tried emailing them numerous times: no reply, now emails are bouncing back.

Thanks for setting up the facebook group Tuquel!

Aside from waves of nausea the other day, no real symptoms here anymore either! Bit scary really...but I didn't my third test today and the line is getting darker, so that must be a good thing!

It's the only problem with knowing so early on, because you don't 'feel' pregnant and there's no symptoms you start to doubt it!

Wowsers, you have early symptoms, animax! Really hoping you don't get the SPD early.

I have no symptoms as yet, strangely so. I usually get a bit of nausea from 6 weeks. With my only live birth, I got hyperemesis from 6-16 weeks, hoping for none of that this time!!

Todays been rough, AF isnt even due till tomorrow but my hips are killing me. Im super worried mySPD will come back super early. I didnt have to stop work until 25 weeks last time, Im hoping to start physio much earlier this time around and use my belt straight away. I also tested super early at 11 dpo so then spent the rest of the week testing every day (sometimes twice!) just to watch the line get darker. Bloods on Friday confirmed that #2 is indeed brewing, hooray!! Last time I had hyperemesis from week 5 so I'm crossing everything that I get low level morning sickness this time! I never had any symptoms with my other pregnancies but today I felt like I had run a marathon I was so weak. Thankfully dh looked after our son for agood part of the day. I'm really not looking forward to full pregnancy symptoms kicking in....I've never had morning sickness with my other 2 but this time I'm already getting waves of wanting to hurl...normally from smells or because I'm hungry, and I know from experience that I normally start feeling the effects from 8 weeks...I'm now paranoid there's going to be more than 1 in there lol!

DH and I have been doing a lot of talking today about whether we upgrade to a bigger house...eeeeek! Fancy seeing you here JLam, I have come from the "other" forum as well.

Shame it's not so busy there, these days. Anyway, I have another name on here as have had 2 MC's last year and didn't want it broadcast to anyone who knows me in real life from off ebb.

I've only just taken a test and had 2 lines yesterday. So super early for me. I don't feel pregnant in the slightest, which is strange, because I have known within a week of my AF being due with all 3 pregnancies. 2 strong lines on the test though. AF due today.

We have one little girl already, she's 7yrs old. We've been trying for #2 for well over a year now (we couldn't try earlier as we've had a fair bit going on which wasn't conducive with a new baby). I'm 38 this month, so on the older side!! We live in Hawkes Bay. Animaxnz, I think you and I might have been on another thread last year, I had a MC in Nov too. I had an earlier one in July as well. I am pretty scared this time round and trying not to get excited. We hope SO much that this bean will stick.

I'm the same with the nausea and extreme hunger too! It's horrible and this sense of smell is driving me batty too!!

Wow. Nausea hit today with a vengeance, haven't been physically sick but hovering between feeling hungry and feeling nauseous. I need to eat but just can't face it. Looks like the funs beginning.

Hi everyone.
Ive just found out I'm pregnant with #2. I had a mmc in November so will be an anxious wait till I see a heart beat but just trying to be optimistic for now. I already have a just over 2 year old son born 1/1/12 so will be fun having a due 17th Dec as well. I dont think I will bother with HCG levels as the last ones were fine which gave me a false sense of calm before the MC. Hi Everyone!

Congratulations on your impending bundles! I just did a test, after having 2 negatives and got a faint positive!!! Which due to the length of my cycles would make me due around the 11th December....I had to tell someone and choose you guys!! I haven't even told DH the good news yet lol!

We've already got 2 kids, so this is #3 for us! We've got a 10 year old daughter, and an almost 1 year old little boy! Eeeee excited!

So funny Aley, DH and I refer to the baby as our little poppy seed :)
I get a lot of AF-like cramps, been feeling nauseous in the mornings and on and off throughout the day. Finding my gag reflex is pretty bad which is not a good look! Sore boobs have started in the last couple of days, sorer than they are for AF but not agony. Biggest thing has been the sleeping. Takes forever to get to sleep and 4am is my new wake up time. Sounds like everyone is doing well so far. I got my HCG bloods back today and are consistant for 3-5weeks which is good. Just organised my midwife today aswel so feel like everything is coming together. Ive been feeling a tad naucious and sore boobs. TigBrady, great to hear all good and levels rising!

I have been feeling quite sick for about a week and a half, up to pee in night for last 5 nights, cant sleep on stomach and a few other things too.

I think the symptoms are much earlier than last time and wonder if it is because its second time round. Didnt get really any morning sickness last time so hoping for none again this time!

Normally morning sickness will kick in about 6 weeks along but different for everyone.

Hmmm frump, i can understand why you may have been put out about the whole HIV testing thing, but try not to read into it too much. But I must say you definitely should have been properly informed about it or given options about the testing before sent on your way. My doctor was really good, she happens to be pregnant as well so it was nice to know that she full well understood my situation. I'm based in Warkworth, just north of Auckland, and my regular GP's office is Kowhai Doctors they have been great so far.

Good news today for me, got my blood results back, my HCG levels have risen considerably to 325, I think, which is a relief and everything else is normal including negative for HIV and Hep C which is not surprising. So, so far so good. Still trying not to get my hopes up though!

I'm still too early for a date scan I think so just got wait it out for a little longer. How's everyone going for symptoms? Aley, with DS I had a dating scan but they thought I was 5wk1d so told me it was too early and to go back a week later, which I did and they confirmed 6wk 1d then. I think you need to go 6 weeks or later for it to be accurate. Mine is getting booked in for end next week when I think I will be 6 weeks.

I didn't have a problem with the HIV testing as I knew it was routine and a good opportunity for screening, plus if youre having bloods drawn anyway then I figure whats the harm in another tube being taken.

I was given a form for dating scan and told to wait another 1-2weeks. I didn't have a dating scan with #1 so interested in how many weeks you all were when you had dating scans. Im eager to get in asap and see that everything is going well but don't want to be disappointed by going too early... Hi TigBrady, no i wasnt even asked i was just handed a slip and it wasnt until i got home that i got a shock and did some research. I might not have minded as much if there had been some dialogue with me as to whether i minded or not and i also cant work out how screening pregnant women is going to give an accurate account of HIV amongst other groups who arent drug users, had blood transfusions, engaged in risky sexual practices or have a closet gay husband who pops out at night to visit his 'friends' on K-Road. lol.
Surely it would be better to find out the history of the person and insist that your partner also is tested. I am not sure about this in NZ but in parts of Europe if you have had an HIV test, even if you are negative, your life insurance policies sky rocket.

Ah I had a blood test just before we started TTC to check everything was ok. We conceived so fast that it was only a month ago so that's probably why they didn't bother with another one.

HIV certainly isn't restricted to prostitutes and drug users. It is prevalent in all social classes among all types of people and it is a real misconception that it only affects small subsets of the community. I'm quite impressed that they've taken the initiative to screen for it, hopefully this can help break down some of the stigma attached to it and save lives in the process. I do know how you feel though as I was a little offended when my doctor wanted to test me for chlamydia as I knew there was absolutely no way I had it. I'm also from Auckland.

I too blanched a bit at the idea of HIV testing, I was basically told that it was routine and a relatively new initiative which was optional to me and I could have opted out if I wished. I know there is no way in hell I could be HIV positive but I just decided to get it done anyway just for the sake of it. Where you offered the option of opting out S141593? I personally do not know much about it really I just did it lol.

Hi, also due on 5th December in Auckland.
Was a bit concerned that i was given a form for blood tests without any explanation as to why i was being tested for HIV. Do pregnant women not get given the usual questions associated with HIV tests such as are you/have you ever been a drug user, taken part in unsafe sexual practices, multiple partners without condoms etc?
I am rather unhappy about it tbh.
Anyone else think its a bit wierd or are you totally happy to be placed in the same catergory as drug users and prostitutes?

I saw my GP yesterday and she sent me for bloods mainly to check HIV/Hep B status as well as blood grouping. Im a practice nurse and we routinley do bloods when someone comes in with +ve result plus swabs to check for infection. We dont usually do HCG levels if someones had a +ve urine pregnancy test unless theres concern for miscarriage.

It's a very exciting time but in saying that I'm trying to not get too excited in case I'm disappointed. But so far so good :-)

I had a a doctors appointment on Friday just gone for something unrelated and decided to mention the possibility I might be pregnant, I was only a couple of days late on my cycle, which is very unusual, so he suggested getting bloods because of their sensitivity to even the slightest increaseing HCG levels. Apparently the first round of bloods is just a base reading, so I went back today for bloods to see if they have increased and also for HIV screening which is routine for pregnancies apparently. So, yea I'm hoping my HCG levels have or are increasing! Fingers crossed!

Understandable, I am naturally a bit of a pessimist so I thought it was best just to get it done. You could suggest it to your doc just to get peace of mind?

I'm glad I stumbled across this forum, I'm desperate to tell everyone but know it would be a bit premature to do so, it's not to be able to share with others who are going through the same thing. It's a strange feeling, it feels a bit surreal!

this is my first child as well and also feeling anxious hoping that it stays put.

I haven't had any bloods, went to the doctor and she said that if my AF had stopped and I'd got a positive on an HPT that was enough.

Are your bloods to check HCG levels?
