I would definitely never travel pregnant. This is very scary and dangerous. Until I find myself in this position, I try to just enjoy and travel constantly. Hi Areyouthere, I had similar issues searching for ages to try and find cover. Nightmare. I ended up finding this article - i've copied and pasted the details below. Hope it helps!

Columbus Direct cover until 30 weeks of pregnancy with an additional premium.

1Cover, Covermore and Downunder cover until 26 weeks of pregnancy. They both also cover for multiple pregnancies, or single pregnancies conceived through IVF.

State cover up until 24 weeks of pregnancy. They both also cover for multiple pregnancies, or single pregnancies conceived through IVF.

Webjet cover up until 23 weeks. They do NOT cover for multiple pregnancies, pregnancies conceived through IVF or pregnancy related complications.

Tower and SCTI cover until 20 weeks. They both also cover for multiple pregnancies, or single pregnancies conceived through IVF.

My name is Michele and I am conducting a study about nutrition during pregnancy. This study is part of my masters in human nutrition at Massey University.
I am investigating the consumption of key nutrients in New Zealand pregnant women. Therefore I need at least 450 pregnant women in the last trimester to answer my online questionnaire. It is an anonymous questionnaire that will take about 15 -20 minutes to answer.
Your participation would be higly appreciated and in exchange to your participation you will receive the latest nutrition guidelines and go on a draw for one of two free subscriptions for OHbaby! magazine for a year.

Hey areyouthereb! Good info, I'm not pregnant through ivf but am travelleing to Europe also. Ill be 21wks going and almost 24 coming back, how far along will you be when you travel?
Just interested to hear if you're doing anything in particular or taking anything special for the long flight? Have even told by midwife just drink plenty and walk around a lot and all should be fine!

I am going away to Europe and to my surprise my latest cycle of ivf worked. We then realised the travel insurance only covers up until 20 weeks and won't cover for "pregnancies resulted from assisted reproduction"... Anyway after lots of research today I have found
Cover-more will cover up until 26weeks if you complete "pre-existing medical condition" form (and pay the associated premium)
Down-under insurance similarly adds a premium but will insure to 26 weeks for ivf.

No other company would insure me.
No company would do multiple pregnancies or ivf pregnancy beyond 26 weeks, nor would they cover "labour or care of a newborn".

got my 2nd lot of HCG bloods back yesterday, have jumped from just 5 to 41 in 3 days, so although low numbers, they are rising beautifully and thats all that matters! am feeling on and off queasy/tired and pretty headachy most nights..and have to remind myself not to overdo it.. will have to get used to this preggy thing all over again! lol. meeting my MW on monday, hope shes the one for me! lives just down the road so super handy Smile

seems lovely anyway so heres hoping! hope everyone else is going good xxx

Hi, I'd like to join too :)

Got my BFP (blood test) on the 17th. Still working the dates out as it was an IVF FET cycle. I think on that day I was around Day 30. So would be just over 4 and a half weeks now. HCG was strong (240) so very excited! Took an HPT the next day for the fun of it and it was so cool to see the word pregnant come up.

As much as we all love Facebook.....You will never find as much information regarding pregnancy anywhere on Facebook as you will on these forums. Our forums have been running for around 13 years and store a wealth of information in them.
Simply use the 'search' function and search for what you'd like more information on. If you can't find out what you need maybe ask a question in our Experts Section. OR perhaps we could do some research on that subject and write a magazine article on it!

Thanks! Due around the 26th :) im confused though..got my bloods back from yesterday, hcg is 5. So super low... BUT how can that be so if my hpt came up straight away and is only meant to read positive once hcg reaches 25??? So im stumped..more bloods tomorrow to see whats going on. Im not sick at all, a bit queasy and headachy, and tired! Also getting weird butterflies/anxious feeling since 3 days ago, but im not anxious! Like my heart is racing or something..will have to ask about that next time I hear from my doc.. congrats everyone else! I haven't had any symptoms at all yet really, feeling like it's not real yet!! Hi ladies, I got my bfp this morning! Soooo happy as this was my final clomiphene round before we go to FA so feeling relieved to say the least! I have a 3 year old daughter who is a wee clomiphene miracle too so super blessed to be on this journey again! Getting my bloodtest results back tomorrow hopefully to confirm. tara and I have both messaged Skiltz to get them to set up the private group ( they have set up all the other months so am bit annoyed they haven't done a nov one yet nor have they answered any of our messages). Will send another message!

Hi All. Congrats to everyone here on the exciting news! We found out a week ago that I'm pregnant and due 12th November. This will be our first baby (my husband and I got married in October), so we are both very excited (although also know that it is early days!). Absolutely no symptoms yet so not quite feeling like it's real yet, will be 6 weeks on Wednesday. Would love to join the private group once it's up and running :) Please let me know the details!

Hello everyone,
I'm Jessy, I'm 25 and I live in Dunedin with my husband and our two small people: our daughter Kaia is an August 09 baby and our son Ridley is an October 10 baby. I have sort of felt pregnant for a week now, but it was too early to test so I did one today and got a very strong positive, putting me due at about November 15th. I'm feeling very nervous so far as I lost a baby at the start of December who would have been due in July, until I get past the magical 12 week mark I don't think I will feel ok. Anyway, I am looking forward to being on this journey with you all.
