Medela is apparently the one midwives recommend. They had that one at the hospital...

I used an Avent IQ Isis Uno thing and found that pretty good.

I have a medela mini double electric pump and its great. It can be used as a single and you can buy attachments so that it becomes a manual pump. Also can run on batteries if you need to take it out somewhere with you. I used it to pump full time for 6 weeks.
I looked at the avent one but thought it was far too expensive, I did originally have the manual avent pump though and that was great was just not suitable for pumping full time.

Also medela bottles etc don't contain that chemical that other baby bottles do (BPA?) so that might be worth consideration as well.

I had the Avent Isis IQ Uno and found it really comfortable to use. I loved the electric side of it as I used to take forever to fill a small bottle and would have gotten serious RSI from pumping for that long lol

I used a Medela double electric pump - fantastic and will be using it again this time too. But have heard other brands are just as good.

I have a Medela double pump. It was the brand recommended by the Multiple Birth club and is also used by the hospitals.

How much you intend on using it should dictate how much you spend. I (well DH) spent $500 on mine but used it at least once a day for 6 months so money well spent for me.

I have a Medela double too and LOVE it. Quite expensive but totally worth it for us as I have ended up expressing all of the feeds for both my girls and get to use it 6 times a day

How often would you need to use it? If it's only occasioanlly, then a cheaper one will do as well.
