hehe Nikki, thanks for clarifying that !! What size cake tin did you use? I use a 20cm one and that makes a nice sized cake...its a delicious recipe and one that I have added to my list of favourites

OMG its devine!!!!! It doesnt look the greatest as I had to use fan force and its a bit crooked....but icing will fix that....now what icing to use?????

Yum, yum, Nikki! My favourite icing is chocolate ganache...basically equal quantities of cream and dark chocolate i.e. 250g chocolate and 250ml cream, melt slowly in microwave and let it come to room temperature then pour on and put in fridge to set.

Yum. I made a cake AND 8 muffins. Just had a muffin for breakfast and it was scrumptious. Might have to check for more defects in case I need to eat some more..

Icing sounds divine too..

I just made this last night  & can't wait to try it!! - Was up baking quite late lol! Just about to ice it using the icing you suggested shell - dh is like a kid at christmas - very excited!!

I iced it with a cream cheese chocolate icing....basically I started with cream cheese icing (cream cheese, icing sugar and lemon juice) and then thought....nah..not what I want so I melted some dark choc and added that to it....OMFG!!!!!! It was heaven!
