I have Southern Cross wellbeing 2, its only $14 a week for me and my daughter, no excess and covers specialist and hospital cover. I also added on a glasses thingy and a dentist package so they pay a certain amount towards those as well. Southern cross have a really good online calculator for all their plans, maybe give it a go and see what it would be for you.

We have Southern Cross Hospital and Specialist and wouldnt be without it. Made lots of claims and the peace of mind it brings you is great. Lots of options and what it does for us as a family is that we never have to go into a waiting list and always to date have had 100% of the procedure/specialsit vist paid.

Oh yes, if one of you is working the company you are working for may have a group scheme whcih can reduce the premiums, So worth asking if applicable

We sell INg at work mainly because they will cover you for any drug as along as its been appoved for use in NZ. Many of the others only cover you for pharmac approved drugs.

yeah i dont work and hubbys work doesnt offer anything....... i have contacted unimed and they are sending me info and have sent it via email too.which is super fast so will take a look at that...my friend is with them through work and she said they are good.....if i get confused with that one i will phone a broker which i have no idea which one to ring but we will get there.........im finding everyones imput very interesting so thank you
