Hi,

Can anyone recommend a baby record book they have used? I'm not hugely into 'cutesy' kind of things so am probably looking for something more modern but would like something that does beyond the first year if possible.

Any advice would be great!

Thanks,

Rachel

I got given 6 books and they were all cutsie pie, I even looked out for a nice one for me to buy but I realised I wouldn't have time to do it twins so just did a diary of their achievements/thoughts instead. Sorry I'm no help & good luck with your search.
3yr old gorgeous ID twin boys.

KikkiK does gorgeous not cutesy ones - I keep meaning to buy one. Think it's only for the first year though.

aaarrrggghhhh...wheres my post?

I was saying that I have never found one that was "just right" so I am trying to design my own using a photobook from snapfish.co.nz You can have pages that are just text so you can add a page of milestones etc. I have started one for Tom....but I may never be happy with that either.

The other thing I saw was in ohbaby magazine it was called mystory and here is the link

Thanks ladies! I went to Kikki K (my fav shop!!) but they only had ringbinders which were more for during pregnancy but will keep checking back.

Will have to pop into Whitcoulls as well.

Sounds like there is a gap in the market for something that has all the details up to 5 years but isn't dipped in sugar several times LOL

I found it so hard to find a decent baby book this time around. I used to be a buyer for Whitcoulls for that sort of stationery and there is quite a wide selection of baby books available but most of the decent ones are from overseas and difficult to find in NZ . The book I got for Ella was an old sample and unfortanately the new buyer didn't buy anymore as I wanted to get another one this time around. I ended up getting a Rachel Hale baby book, but it wasn't 100% what I wanted and if I had more time on my hands i would have got in the touch with the new buyer and told her about the gap in the market.

I would also suggest you try some of the smaller, more specialised baby shops as they as sometimes have a couple of baby books that you don't normally see in main stream retail shops.
