Topic: AF/BreastfeedingPosted: 15 June 2010 at 5:11pm |

I stopped breastfeeding Bella in March/April, always had pretty regular AF's even while breastfeeding, though it took a while to get regular. After I stopped, AF was pretty much every 28 days, had one that was 31 days though. AF was due on the 12th and still no sign, though I have the cramps and the CM and all that like its about to arrive. I am 100 % not UTD, as not BDing this month due to having a horrid tummy bug a few weeks ago, we all got it.
Is it fairly normal to have mucked up cycles after breastfeeding for 7 months and after having 2 babies? Im sure it is, I just hate not being regular, as I usually am

Nothing like the prettiest knickers to bring on AF
Sometimes when I am sick my cycle goes a bit funny so maybe your tummy bug put things on hold for a few day. |

I reckon its prob due to the tummy bug, illness can delay ov (as can the stress of 2 sick kids and a sick DH)...

Sheza, I stopped expressing altogether when Jae was 4 months old, and I still dont have regular AF yet! Anywhere from 25-32 days... so dont go exactly by the days just yet... (ov is anywhere between CD13-21 on any given month!) wait until your a week or more late before worrying too much next time
