Topic: Crooked ToothPosted: 12 August 2010 at 7:09am |

My DS is 10 months old and teething heavily and his 5th tooth (3rd bottom one) is very crooked now that it's through.
He had a real tough time with that one coming through. It's almost sideways - I would say a 30 degree angle to the others. Has anyone elses child had this happen and should I take him to the dentist or just leave it and see what happens..? |

Yep, DD's did the same thing with the same teeth! Hers came up corner first, and stayed that way for a while. They look funny coming up, but are now straight.

All 4 of Jody's bottom front teeth looked really crooked when they came through too, they have straightened up now :)

Yep, my little man has a crooked front bottom tooth. A friend's daughter has a tooth that's about a 45 deg angle and she rang an orthodontist who advised her not to worry at all as they're just baby teeth. Once they get their adult teeth all through is when you can be concerned (or hopefully not!). Hope that helps!
