Has anyone done IVF with acupuncture, and if so which acupuncturist would you recommend (was IVF a success too?)? Many thanks!

Cure is a strong word, but acupuncture might help increase your odds of getting pregnant. Honestly It helped me. I and my husband were struggling to get pregnant. We tried everything and decided to give a chance to alternative ways of treatment. I visited one acupuncturist from Eden Physio center here in Auckland. Now we have a beautiful 1 y.o. daughter :)

Hi, it seems to me that acupuncture will not have a serious effect. But, I think that if you sincerely believe that this method can help you, then you may see results. But, in any case, this procedure should be carried out by a specialist, so as not to harm you. And I would recommend that you report your decision to your doctor. Listen to his opinion, because any procedure (even alternative methods of treatment) is a risk. And I believe more in the standard approaches in medicine. But, in any case, I wish you good luck and patience.

In my opinion, acupuncture will not have a decisive factor regarding the effect of the IVF procedure. However, if you believe that this procedure can help you, do not refuse it. Indeed, in this way you will tune in a positive mood. But in my opinion, it is better to look for a good clinic, possibly abroad, where you will be given proper assistance. When choosing a clinic, be sure to pay attention to its rating, number of patients, reviews. Today, reproductive medicine is very highly developed. Therefore, if IVF is ineffective for you, having made 4 attempts, you will be asked to consider the option of surrogacy.

When preparing your body for IVF, it’s important to give yourself the best possible chance for positive outcome. This can be done by nourishing and caring for your your body. The quality and quantity of sleep influences sex hormones, sperm production, and ovulation. It is therefore crucial to make sure you and your partner are getting enough good quality sleep, especially leading up to an IVF cycle. The process of IVF can be stressful, to say the least. Research indicates that lower levels of measurable physiological stress indicate higher IVF success. Additionally, standard psychometric tests indicate that feeling relaxed favors conception.
Try these tips to reduce stress: Slow down your lifestyle pace. Time yourself to see how long it takes to complete common tasks and then see if your expectations of what you plan to achieve in a day, or in a week, match up with how long it actually takes you to do things. Most of the time this will mean removing items from your schedule and to-do list.

Acupuncture is a very effective supporting treatment for women undergoing IVF, making the process more comfortable, less stressful, and increasing odds for success. Some studies show more than double the chances of conception for couples utilizing acupuncture alongside IVF. Acupuncture should be scheduled carefully to have the best chance of success. After eggs have been retrieved you may have some cramping and discomfort from the procedure. At this time, acupuncture is focused on relaxing the uterus, increasing circulation. And also preparing the body for embryo transfer. In general, studies have shown that acupuncture just before or after an embryo transfer will increase the odds of a successful pregnancy.

Hi really? If this is true, then I was very mistaken. But it seems to me that acupuncture helps in relaxing the body more than in IVF. But in general, if there are studies supporting the benefits of acupuncture, this can be tried. Although I believe that each case is individual. Someone can get pregnant quickly without acupuncture. And someone will be unsuccessful with many attempts, even with the use of acupuncture. Therefore, we should not put much hope in this therapy.

At Feskov's clinic, which I trust, the doctors are skeptical about this practice, but they allow it, as there is no particular benefit, but also no harm. It is more important your psychological mindset. If it helps you to believe in success, then why not.
